Diocese of Phoenix

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix needed a new website.  Their old website, DiocesePhoenix.org, was out-dated and difficult to update. Their new website was central to their efforts to support the ministry 95 churches, 50 schools, and 25 charities in the city of Phoenix. So as we created their new website (https://dphx.org), we had to work closely with every level of the organization to look for opportunities to increase workflow efficiencies.

The Process

Their previous website was much like an organizational chart of their staff. This was a sensible structure for anyone within their building, but it was confusing and inaccessible to website visitors. New visitors had no idea where to start.

To begin the new website project, we created 6 archetypes for their website. This allowed us to make critical decisions about what goes where and why.

Requests:

  • Easy-to-update for their staff
  • Modern platform
  • Responsive
  • Bilingual

Features:

  • Maps and advanced database integrations
  • Events Submissions, Event pages
  • Jobs / Employment Functionality
  • Framework for new websites
  • Advanced website backups and server environments.

Services:

  • Web Design
  • Content Strategy
  • Improving workflows
  • Training Staffers
